Is it free?

Yes. There is nothing to buy.

What do I need to play?

A desktop browser with WebGL 2 and WebAssembly (current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari have both), a keyboard and a mouse. Phones and tablets aren't supported: the game needs keys and a mouse.

If the game says it couldn't start graphics, turn on hardware acceleration in your browser's settings, or try another browser.

Do I need an account?

No. Play signs you in as a guest and opens the game. An account keeps one name on every browser you play from; create one whenever you like.

Can I play online against other people?

Not yet. Today every match is against bots, in both modes and both arenas. Online matches are being built.

What does the site keep about me?

For an account: your email address, your username and display name, and your password, which the game server stores only as a hash. A guest account is tied to an ID kept in your browser. Your game settings stay in your browser too.

You can change your username, display name and password, or delete your account, on your account page. Deleting it removes it from the game server.

The game runs slowly. What can I do?

Open Settings → Graphics in the game. Lower the resolution scale first, then the quality preset. Closing other heavy tabs helps too.
